This morning, Peach County deputies attempted to make a traffic stop on HWY 49. Rather than stopping on HWY 49 as directed, the vehicle in question continued to drive and pulled into the parking lot of PCHS where the vehicle was then stopped by deputies. Deputies advised PCHS to go into a precautionary lockdown until the vehicle stop was resolved.
The precautionary lockdown was brief and school quickly resumed as normal. We appreciate our partnership with local law enforcement to help our schools stay safe.

Peach County High School's Local School Governance Team is proud to recognize Roberts Towing as the Business of the Month.
Roberts Towing has generously supported PCHS through the Automotive Department. Owner David Roberts traveled to West Point, GA, to pick up and deliver a Kia electric car at no charge. Additionally, he sponsored the new Automotive Department t-shirt, featuring a design created by our Graphic Design students.
As a locally owned small business, Roberts Towing continues to make a positive impact on our school and community.
Pictured are LSGT Chairman Dustin Chancellor, David Roberts, and PCHS Automotive Instructor Gary Moye.

The PCHS FFA Spring Plant Sale will take place on March 27th, 28th, and 29th.

Mr. Chancellor and Mrs. Brown's Forensic Science class is investigating decomposition rates and insect activity by starting a chicken Body Farm. Five chicken carcasses (a control, stab victim, drown victim, clothed victim, and hanging victim) will be studied over the next month or so. They will be collecting body temperature data, weather data, insect larvae, and other qualitative evidence to see how decay rates are affected.
