Dr. Angela Hambrick

Dr. Angela Hambrick

Principal

Dr. Angela Hambrick has been an educator for 14 years. She has taught Business Education in Houston County, Georgia. She has her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern State University, a Master's degree in Secondary Education from Georgia College and State University, a Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Piedmont College, and a Doctorate degree in Teacher Leadership from Kennesaw State University. She began her classroom teaching experience as a business education teacher at an alternative school, where she was selected Teacher of the Year during the 2011-2012 and 2013-2014 school years. The 2024-2025 school year will be her 6th year in administration.  

Dr. Hambrick is married to Mitch Hambrick and is the proud mom of two daughters, Hayley and Abby.  She is honored to be part of "Trojan Nation."

Mr. Greg Ellison

Assistant Principal/Athletic Director

Gregory Ellison is a graduate of Washington County High School and is excited to begin the school year as the Athletic Director and assistant principal at PCHS. He began his career in education as a teacher and coach at Pulaski County Middle School. Before coming to Peach County High School, he has worked as a(n) teacher, coach, and administrator in Pulaski, Irwin, Crisp, and Houston counties. Mr. Ellison received his bachelor’s degree from Fort Valley State University in Marketing, master’s degree from Fort Valley State University in Middle Grades Education, and specialist degree from Valdosta State University in Educational Leadership. Mr. Ellison believes all students have the ability to be successful, productive citizens and strives each day to encourage each student to reach his or her greatest potential.

Mr. Russell Lawley

Assistant Principal

 Originally from Selma, Alabama, Mr. Lawley graduated from Auburn University and began teaching agriculture in Schley County, Georgia, during the 2000-2001 school year. For the past fifteen years, he has served as a school administrator in Pulaski, Houston, and Bleckley Counties.

Mr. Lawley has been happily married to his wife, Tonya, for 30 years. Together, they have one son, Corey, and three grandchildren, Aubrey, Rilynn, and Cannon. When he is not at work, Mr. Lawley enjoys kayaking, lifting weights, and spending time with his family.

Mr. Daniel Peavy

Assistant Principal

Mr. Peavy is a graduate of Peach County High School. He attended Georgia Southern University where he earned his bachelor’s degree. Mr. Peavy spent 12 years as an educator in Bibb County Schools. During his time in Bibb County, he served as a middle school coach, athletic director, high school teacher, and dean of students.  He received a Master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from Valdosta State University, with certification in leadership.  In 2022, he became Assistant Principal of Discipline at Hunt Elementary School in Peach County.  

Mr. Peavy and his wife Laura live in Fort Valley along with their three children, J.D., Ava, and Elizabeth. Mr. Peavy is excited to return to his alma mater as an assistant principal at Peach County High School! Go Trojans!

Mr. Robert Winborne,

Mr. Robert Winborne

Assistant Principal of Instruction

Mr. R. B. “Buddy’ Winborne is a product of the Lee County School System (GA). He attended and played golf for The Mercer University in Macon, GA, where he

received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Accounting in 1999…Go Bears! After spending 10 years in the corporate world, Mr. Winborne went back to school and attended Grand Canyon University (AZ), where he completed his Masters of Secondary Education in Mathematics in 2012. Currently, he is in the final stages of his doctoral program in Educational Leadership at Columbus State University.

After a decade in the corporate world, Mr. Winborne entered the field of education in 2009 as a mathematics teacher at Northeast High School. He served as mathematics department chair for 8 years, coached golf, and served in various leadership capacities. In 2018, Mr. Winborne transitioned from the classroom to the role of instructional coach for science and mathematics. In

2020, he became the assistant principal of instruction at Howard High School. In June 2022, Mr. Winborne began serving Peach County High School as the assistant principal of instruction and the Voice of Peach County Football. Go Trojans!!!
