Principal
Jesse Davis was born in Pickens, SC, and is a graduate of Northside High School in Warner Robins. Having attended schools all over the world in conjunction with his father’s military service, Dr. Davis has called Middle Georgia home for more than 30 years. Dr. Davis is a 1997 graduate of Georgia Southern University, having received his Bachelor of Science degree in the area of Psychology. After attending Georgia Southern, Dr. Davis earned a Master’s Degree in Interrelated Special Education from Georgia College and State University, a Specialist’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Columbus State University and his Doctorate Degree from Georgia Southern University in the area of Educational Leadership. Dr. Davis holds the credential of Principal Mentor, which is a qualification awarded by both the National Association of Secondary School and Elementary School Principals.
Dr. Davis began his career in education in Perry, GA as a teacher serving students with special needs and athletic coach. Dr. Davis has served as a school level administrator since 2003, having served as both an Assistant Principal of Instruction and Assistant Principal of Operations prior to serving as the Principal of Feagin Mill Middle School. Prior to serving Peach County Schools, Dr. Davis proudly served the Bibb County School District as a principal supervisor for three years. In 2013 Dr. Davis was named as Georgia’s National Distinguished Principal. Dr. Davis has been very active in state professional organizations having served as a past President of and also Federal Realtions Director for the Georgi Association of Educational Leaders.
Dr. Davis is married to Michelle who is also a career educator. Together they have two sons- Jack and Mattison.
