Last Tuesday, all Region 6 STAR Teacher and STAR Student winners were honored at a banquet held at Middle Georgia State University. Peach County's STAR Student, Lily Cunningham, spoke about her future plans and honored her choice for STAR Teacher, Alyssa Cooper. Likewise, Ms. Cooper gave a speech recognizing Lily's many accomplishments. PCHS is proud of you both! Go Trojans!

Last Wednesday and Thursday, the PCHS Advanced Drama class performed The Rainbow Fish for the Kindergarten classes at Kay Road Elementary. PCHS students in Mrs. Warr's, Mrs. Evans', and Mrs. Hodges' classes also enjoyed the show. The Rainbow Fish featured talented students from the PCHS drama department. The set and costumes were designed and built by Ms. Cooper's Technical Theatre class members, and props were built by Ms. Cooper's Fundamentals of Theatre class. What a great way to celebrate Theatre in Our Schools Month!

Hometown Health University, Georgia Department of Education CTAE, and the industry statewide teams of healthcare professionals awarded Peach County High School’s Healthcare Science program industry recertification today. This certification is good for five years. Congratulations to our Healthcare Science Program under the leadership of Mrs. Kristine Spivey for earning this certification today. Peach County High School is proud of our healthcare program and the skills our students are earning to be college and career ready.
