Russell Lawley named assistant principal at Peach County High School

On April 9, 2024, the Peach County Board of Education approved Superintendent Dr. Lionel Brown's recommendation for Mr. Russell Lawley to serve as the new Assistant Principal of Peach County High School.

Originally from Selma, Alabama, Mr. Lawley graduated from Auburn University and began teaching agriculture in Schley County, Georgia, during the 2000-2001 school year. For the past fifteen years, he has served as a school administrator in Pulaski, Houston, and Bleckley Counties.

Mr. Lawley has been happily married to his wife, Tonya, for 29 years. Together, they have one son, Corey, and three grandchildren, Aubrey, Rilynn, and Cannon. When he is not at work, Mr. Lawley enjoys kayaking, lifting weights, and spending time with his family.
