The best learning comes when you are involved with the material, not just when you see it or hear it. As a teacher it is important for me to help you find ways to get as involved with history. At the end of this class, whether it is World History or Sociology, I hope that you feel you have visited a new place, met interesting people, and grown, just a little, as a person.

I have started a blog: http://grassmeandering.edublogs.org/ These are my thoughts in and around the things that I do and teach. We'll see if it's something that I'll do, if its something that will add to the learning experience of the classroom or my own growth.

The midterm review for fall 09 can be found here.

Welcome to the adventure that is history. I hope you enjoy the ride.
