Peach County High School will become an affiliate of the State Parent
Teacher Association (PTA) this year. We are in need of officers. We would
like for you to volunteer as a leader for our children. Please show your

You can make a difference in your child’s education
by playing an active role.
Purpose of Parental Involvement
- Help parents develop skills and foster conditions at home that support
learning.
- Provide parents with the knowledge of techniques designed to assist
children in learning at home.
- Provide access to and coordinate with community and support services.
- Promote clear two-way communication between the school and the family
to provide information about the school’s programs and student's
progress.
- Support parents as decision makers and develop their leadership in
governance, advisory,and advocacy roles.

All focus groups will meet at the beginning of each semester with a representative
from the Parental Involvement Team to discuss the calendar and the ways
parents can enhance the educational process at Peach County High School.
