Since the beginning of History, humans have always been in the need for recognizing the topography of the place, they have been living in. They also have dreamed of developing complex scientific devices that help them to achieve these tasks. This legendary concept is remote sensing – the possibility take pictures useful for map making or scientific purposes. The applications of remote sensing are boundless, ranging from the simplest map making to the most complex, specialized jobs that can depend on a human life. Remote sensing has developed and continuously progressed over the years, and will continue to advance to new heights with each passing day.
