Peach County High School 2012 Governor’s Honors Nominees Announced

Congratulations to the following students on being nominated for Governor’s Honors Program!  Charles Rodriguez -Communicative Arts, Allison Dawson -Chemistry, Caitlyn Hicks - Communicative Arts, and Martin Martinez - Agricultural /Environmental Science. We would also like to wish them the best of luck as they prepare for their interviews on the weekends in January and February.   

Delta Sigma Theta Donates Uniform Shirts to Peach County High School

The Fort Valley Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. donated 125 new long sleeve shirts to PCHS New Tech Academies. Former PCHS AVID Coordinator and Delta member Ernestine Johnson received an alert from PCHS Parent Coordinator Shirley Washington that some students were not in compliance with the uniform dress code because of the economy and the financial strain that it had placed on their families.

Located in the heart of central Georgia, Peach County, our 159th county((the last of 159 counties) , was created from parts of Houston & Macon counties in 1924. Named for the area's abundant peach crop, Peach County is Georgia's newest & geographically one of the smallest counties(151 sq.miles)in Georgia.
